Oh, and check out her rock! So gorgeous.
The Bachelor: {Thailand}
Last night was yet another fabulous episode of The Bachelor. There were three girls left: Lindsay, AshLee, and Catherine. This week....OVERNIGHTS in Thailand!
Sean recapped the three very different women prior to the dates this week:
Catherine - Nerdy, goofy, unique. He says they're serious when they need to be, but they can always have fun! *insert flashbacks from the ice castle and the giant snow bus date* And according to Sean, "We also have a romantic element that's off the charts." Aww...
AshLee - inspirational, strong. Sean commends AshLee for having one of the biggest hearts. He continued with saying that he never has to guess how she's feeling. Sean and AshLee want the same things out of life: same type of family, same type of marriage, same type of future. And yes, Sean said 'same type of' all three times. I actually rewound to listen again, as I thought my brain was just hallucinating things. But nope...it was real. Sean comments that a future with AshLee is like the American dream, with a house and kids running around ...
Lindsay - loving, caring, generous, supportive, hilarious. Lindsay and Sean's relationship is a spark that's grown into a massive flame. Sean admits that it was during dinner on their first date in Montana that he began to be able to picture himself with Lindsay for the rest of his life. They are a match physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Ok, enough of that! Let's get to the dates shall we?!
Lindsay was up first, and Sean took her to a Thai market. But upon seeing her, they shared a passionate kiss, at which time Sean's hand goes straight for her butt! *tsk tsk* No shame, Sean! But they really are adorable. So, while they're at the Thai market, they are rummaging around and come upon the most adorable colored chicks (little chickens, not humans...)! Seriously, these things were BRIGHT and BOLD colors: pink, blue, green, yellow. Wowzers! But I secretly wanted one. Still do actually.... But anyway. Sean and Lindsay were able to do normal things on this date, and they could really see themselves together in real life, when the cameras are turned off. But, I wouldn't call eating bugs 'normal'. Lindsay had mentioned to Sean that she would try anything once, but not bugs. So, being a typical guy, what does he go for first? The bugs, of course! So, they each get a bug-on-a-stick and chow down. Lindsay's face was priceless! It was totally disgusting. But, it wasn't over just yet! Nope! They had to go for a SECOND bug. Totally and utterly g.r.o.s.s. This one was a huge, crispy grasshopper. Yummo. Talk about nutritious! Yuck. Lindsay couldn't find her drink fast enough.
Sean finally laughed it off and they walked away. Aww, no more bugs :(. They then move to Monkey Beach, which was stunning. And yes, of course there were monkeys! Sean and Lindsay were able to feed them! I seriously want a monkey. Seriously.

Cutest darn things EVERRR! But, back to Sean and Lindsay I guess. Sean tells Lindsay that she's the best friend he's been looking for. Awww. How sweet. Then, it was dinnertime. (personally, my favorite time of the day, but whatever, this isn't about me anyway.) Lindsay confirms to Sean that she's completely willing to move to Dallas to live with him and be a couple together instead of pursuing a long-distance relationship. And then it was pretty funny. I found myself thinking that there really aren't any *awkward* moments between Sean and Lindsay. But then it happened. Just like that....silence. Awkward! There were weird stares and funny laughs to try to get past it, but it was the biggest elephant in the room! Lindsay wanted nothing more than to tell Sean of her undying love for him. Okay, maybe it wasn't that extreme, but she did want to tell him that she loved him. She just couldn't get those three little words out. Let me help, Lindsay.... I. LOVE. YOU. There, that wasn't so bad, now was it? Then, she gave her speech. She explained to Sean that she was taking the process very seriously and it wasn't just a game to her. She said that it felt right and real, and that she wouldn't take what they had for granted. I thought, this is it! I was sure that she was going to say 'I love you' to Sean. But nope. They were interrupted by a Thai performance with dancers and lights! It was pretty awesome to see, and I could only imagine what it was like to be there to experience. Lots and lots of culture, people! Then, Sean brought out the fantasy suite card. Lindsay didn't hesitate, and she said that she would love to spend the time with him. Then, while in the fantasy suite, she finally says it! "I love you, Sean". Awww! So sweet. Sean replied, "I love hearing you say that." Poor guy.
AshLee's date was next. They were on a small Thai boat, and then Sean explained they were going to swim through Emerald Cave. She was FREAKING OUT!
She continued to repeat that she had a fear of rejection and abandonment. Sean justified this date by saying that he wanted her to trust him. During the cave dive, they kind of get lost, and even Sean admitted to being scared. It was pitch black in there and they had no clue where they were going. To be honest, it was a pretty lame date! They finally emerged, though, and found themselves on a beautiful secluded beach that can only be accessed by going through Emerald Cave. It was gorgeous! AshLee stated several times that it was a 'different' AshLee than the girl that started on the Bachelor journey. She had changed and was letting go of having to be in control at all times. She also admitted (not to Sean, of course) that she would say yes to a proposal that day. She continued, "Every part of me wants to be engaged to Sean next week." Jennifer Weiner, a popular author, tweeted, "And one very special part wants to be engaged to Sean tonight." Aww...bahahahaha! So true. Then, it was on to dinner that night. AshLee admitted that she was scared to spend time with Sean off camera and that she wasn't morally willing to put herself out there if he was doing the same thing with two other women. Boo hoo. Like she doesn't know what the Bachelor is?! Come onnnn! I do have to admit that they had some pretty sweet small talk through dinner, though. But then, the infamous date card arrived, explaining they could take advantage of the fantasy suite. AshLee then gave Sean a lllooooonnnnnggggg speech, but ultimately she said yes! She trusts him, apparently. While in the fantasy suite, AshLee tells Sean the EXACT ring that she wants - followed by her ring size! Dreaming much, are we pretty girl? Ugh, I'm so over AshLee. Her sob story is getting old quick! She followed all of that by telling Sean that he's healed her broken heart. Stab me in the eye, please! Sean replied that it's good that she knows exactly what she wants.... I'm not buying it.
Catherine's date was last this week, and Sean took her on a Thai boat (a big boat) to see the sights. He says that he left her hometown date with two questions: 1-Do they have the same life goals? 2-Do they want to live life the same way? But, they do have fun together, and Sean says that's important. Doesn't he have fun with the other two women as well? That's what he's been saying, so I don't know! Hmm... But Sean says several times that he had been missing Catherine and that he had been looking forward to their date all week! Dun dun dunnnn! Sean tells viewers that he wondered if Catherine could settle down in Dallas. So, he asks her (good move). She says that she's expired in terms of living in Seattle. Way to beat around the bush there! She tells Sean that she was pissed at her sisters. Sean proceeded to ask her why she was ready for marriage now. Then, Catherine erupts into a long story about being in a long-term relationship and she freaked out, which taught her, ultimately, what it took to be married. She is more open with her friends than her sisters, as her and her sisters are in different points in their lives and there's drama and jealousy, etc. She says one of her friends is married, so she can pretty much tell her anything. After the pretty serious conversation, they back-flip off the boat and into the water, but not before giving each other some lovin'...of course!
It's pretty obvious that Sean is more open with Catherine and talks of his affection towards her constantly. Then a storm rolls through, and they scramble for cover back on the boat, but they end up kissing in the rain. It was pretty hott! Catherine says, "I'm ready to be with him." Sean says, "She gets me more than anyone else." Apparently Sean is way more goofy and nerdy than we thought!! So, then it's off to dinner. He openly asks Catherine where she sees them in five years. Her answer - married, with a kid, and happy. Super specific there haha. She then admits that she's pretty traditional when it comes to relationships, admitting that the overnight date scared her. She told Sean that she wants him to continue to see her as a lady (does she think he'll see her man-parts?!). Sean was admittedly turned on by her nervousness over the fantasy suite. Aww...that's true love people! She says yes, and they head on over. They get serious, again (so not typical Catherine/Sean viewing), and she tells him that she was made fun of when she was younger - that she was chubby or ate too much. She then admits to him that she's never been in a bathing suit more times in her life than she has been with Sean. His reply, "You're smoking hott, ok? I'm the lucky one." Awww. They're soooo comfortable together. Then, cameras shut off.
Prior to the rose ceremony, Sean says that it's hard and he never pictured himself saying goodbye to this person (at this point, we don't know who he sends home). It was the week that Emily sent him home on his season as a contestant, and he was blindsided. He knows who he's sending home, but it was going to be the toughest thing ever. It kills him inside. This person is full of love and it kills him to think about it. Ok, overkill much, Sean? But wait, there's more! he says that he hates being the person that breaks hearts or hurts feelings, but he knows that it needs to be done. Then why are you the Bachelor?!?! Oy. He does admit that he's in love, though! Aww. Then, Chris Harrison tells Sean that the women left private, personal video messages prior to the rose ceremony. He had the BIGGEST smile watching Catherine's video, and the most somber look watching AshLee's. AshLee breaks down crying during the message - TWICE! Get over yourself, girl! You're totally dramatic. I'm tired of hearing her 'broken' story. It's all she talks about! But she knows she'll 'always love him'. Gag me! Sean then admits that the video messages made his decision hard. Well duh, you just watched three women tell you that they love you! Jerk.
Before the LAST rose ceremony, Sean says he knows he's not meant to be with the person he's sending home. Cue Chris Harrison: "If you're ready, here's Sean." Drum roll please....
First rose: Lindsay! Wooooo hoooooo! She's my fave! :) They're adorable together!! I was totally pumped at this point, and made the decision that it would be worth watching the show to the end now. Ha!
Second and final rose: he picks up the rose. Looks at the women. Bites his tongue. Women sigh. Rose close-up. Clenched teeth. Sighs of exasperation. Clears throat. And..... CATHERINE! Yay yay yay! AshLee is sent packin'! The finale will definitely be worth watching now! :) I'm rude...whatever.
AshLee was PISSED! She tells Sean to 'just stay' as she takes the walk of shame. See ya! But Sean replies, "Can I just explain myself please?" To which she stops.
*i think the world of you
*this is the hardest decision I've ever had to make
*I don't want to hurt you
*I hope you know where I'm coming from
But no real reason why it wasn't her. Poor, poor AshLee. Buh-bye!
AshLee: "This wasn't a silly game to me." *evil eyes* Sean sits with his head between his knees on a bench as the remaining two women look on at him. Lame. AshLee (in the car heading HOME) says that it was the 'ultimate reject'. Umm...I'm pretty sure it was probably the ultimate rejectION. Maybe that? Yeah, probably. She hides behind her hair and sobs. Boo hoo.
On to next week! The reunion show: The Women Tell All! Bring.it.on. :)
I also read from Sean's point of view of his experience this week. Pretty cool! Apparently, him and AshLee don't laugh much together. Finally, a REASON. And I can totally see that.
Until next week! ♥
The Bachelor - {Double Trouble}
Okay, so I was seriously excited about the two-night special of the Bachelor this week! Who wouldn't be?? Seriously, if you watch the show, you know what I'm talking about. And if you don't, why are you reading this anyway? Ha! But seriously, if you don't watch the show and don't care, this is your official warning that I'm about to DIVE IN to Tuesday night's episode. It was Day 2 of the two-night special. I got off work at 9, was home at 9:30, and watching the recorded episode by 9:40. I was that pumped!
So, here we go!
This week's dates were: 2 one-on-one dates and a group date. And Sean had the ladies whisked away to Canada. Seriously? Montana first, and now Canada? Hmm...Sean's staying local I guess!
The first one-on-one went to Catherine. Okay, I have to take a minute to admit here that I wasn't sure about her. She seemed to sort of fade away into the background up until now. And her romance with Sean came out of nowhere! These two really seemed to click right away, and it's so adorable how well they get along! But this chick has balls. Yes, balls. As in, they are in Canada, in ONESIES, in the freezing snow being constantly pelted in the face, and she LOVED every second! I do admit, though, that when you're with the person that you love, it doesn't matter if it's negative 5 or 90+ degrees. Well, it might a 'little', but those two did not let it affect their date! They were sledding, tumbling, rolling all through the snow. It was so picturesque!
So cute! Then for the evening portion of the date, he took her to this amazing ice castle that was made JUST.FOR.THEM! How special! I was freezing just watching this date, haha. And that's saying something coming from me! I love the cold! But again, they did not let it ruin any part of their date. They were so flirty with each other - it was great to see. It reminded me of that high school love kind of feeling. So awesome! These two know how to have fun with each other but also be very serious. Catherine opened up to Sean on this date and gave him a little more insight as to why she is the way she is. At the age of 12, Catherine was at summer camp with her friend. They were walking down a trail and some girl cut in front of her (I wish she would've told it a 'little' better, but I guess we got the gist!). Then she heard a loud popping noise, which was a tree falling - that ultimately fell on the girl in front of her and killed her instantly! She learned, at a mere 12 years old, that life can be taken away in an instant, and you are not guaranteed tomorrow. Such an amazing lesson though, might I say. Sean was touched by this story and by Catherine's serious side and gave her the rose! She's growing on me...for now. Still not my favorite though!
Then it was on to the group date! Aren't these always just so much fun?! Ha! The girls on this date were: Lindsay, AshLee, Lesley, Daniella, Selma, Tierra, and Sarah. They had three canoes to row across Lake Louise, which was absolutely gorgeous! Talk about a super romantic setting (of course it is...this is THE BACHELOR for crying out loud!). Lesley took that chance to hop on in Sean's boat and let him be a man while oogling over him. So cute! Her attraction towards him is definitely starting to show more and more, but not in a gross, desperate way like Tierra's. We're getting to her drama...just wait! However, Sarah did A.M.A.Z.I.N.G canoeing with only one arm! She rocked it out...and has definitely been physically and emotionally tested due to her impairment. But she's been such a great sport about it and always excels. She's definitely so strong!
So, back to the group date. Sean is showing his adventurous side these days - and this group date was no exception! Sheesh! They joined a club in Canada and did the POLAR BEAR PLUNGE in Lake Louise! For those of you that don't know what this means: they had to jump into the deep end of the lake in bathing suits and be totally and completely submerged under water. Please keep in mind at this point that they are in CANADA. And it's freezing cold!
Selma flat out refused. Like, from the very first second they were told what they were doing, she said no. Do you blame the girl?! First, Sean expected her to go hiking and be totally un-girly on their one-on-one, but now he wanted her to jump in the lake in freezing cold temperatures? This girl wasn't having it. She sat in the tent applying lip gloss every few seconds. Typical Selma! I didn't really ever like her anyway... So, they did it! Everyone else jumped into Lake Louise in bikinis (except Sean of course, who was clad in a striped suit suitable for men). And .5 seconds later, they were all scrambling to get out of the water and find some warmth! A few of the girls, mostly Lindsay and Lesley (those girls are so outgoing) absolutely loved it and even mentioned later that they want to start traveling the world doing the Polar Bear Plunge. Crazy girls! One girl didn't fare so well, though. And yep, you guessed it. Tierra! She was doubled over and was unresponsive for a few minutes. The lifeguard had to take her away...
They took her to an SUV outside of the hotel the girls were staying at, took her vitals repeatedly, and just warmed her up. She seemed to respond to that, so there was no trip to the Emergency Room. I guess that's just how they roll in Canada! Sean checked on her later as she was clad in a bathroom, laying in bed, hooked up to an oxygen tank. Sex-ay! He reassured her of his feelings towards her and told her it was best she not join them for the evening part of the group date and catch up on some rest. Did she listen? Of course not! This is Tierra we're talking about! LOVED Lesley's reaction, "We have a Tierra-ist on our hands!" Ahahahahaha! It's official: Tierra knows how to be desperate to get what she wants, and she's a professional at faking an injury! Come on...please send her home, Sean!
Lesley got the rose on the group date, which definitely made me super happy (because my opinion totally counts, duh!). As I mentioned earlier, she's showing her attraction/love for him more openly, she jumped at the chance of riding with him in his canoe, and she was also holding his hand while they jumped in the lake together! Awwww! They also make SUCH a cute couple!
Sarah opened up BIG TIME during her alone time with Sean on the group date. She told him that she wanted him to meet her family...and brought PICTURES! Umm, a little overboard I'd say. She seems to get a little clingy and attaches herself to any man that treats her the way she wants to be treated - but I'd have to agree...he did have her DOG sent to the mansion in LA! Definitely another 'awwww' moment! But then, Sean does something that shocks everyone - he sends Sarah home that night! He told her that he didn't feel a forever with her, and he didn't want her to wait it out, especially during a rose ceremony in front of everyone. Such a heartthrob ... always thinking of others, that Sean! Sarah's response, "It's the way love goes, and it's toally okay." Yeah, I don't think you're okay with it, hun! But she was totally being the rockstar that she is and staying calm, cool, and collected. Until she got in the limo and broke down. She says she's tired of being told she's totally awesome but the guys just aren't 'feeling' it. Poor thing. She needs a brownie, stat! What?? That's what I'd want when the guy I was falling for broke my heart. Or when I'm sad and emotional. Or just any hour of any day of the week. Duh! :) But, she was totally blindsided. Poor thing.
Desiree got the second one-on-one this week! Woo hoo! But this also tore at Daniella's heart, because she hasn't even gotten one. Well, it's obviously because Sean does not feel a connection with her and does not want to spend one-on-one time together. Get the picture, Daniella? Apparently, she didn't. But anyway...back to the dream team (aka Sean and Desiree). Sean surprised Des by their activity of the day: repelling down Tunnel Mountain to have a picnic! That's over 400feet down the side of a mountain. Little girl was SCARED. I would be too, but I did find that she was pretty whiny for a while there. "It's really steep." Umm, yes. It's a MOUNTAIN! But then, she did compare her adventure with a relationship: it starts off with a lot of questions and being worried about things, then it gets difficult and a little rocky (get it?), and then it eases up and becomes natural. Aww, she's so smart! And they're definitely so flirty together! They ended up having something in common: climbing trees! They shared a particularly interesting kiss that day...
For the evening session of their alone time, Sean takes Des to a tee-pee, with a fire in the middle! So romantic (it was obviously a BIG teepee people...). Des also takes this time to continue to open up to Sean. She tells her story: she grew up without a lot of money. As in, her family (parents and a brother) lived in a tent from time to time, with the longest being 4 months. Seriously. And sometimes, they'd live in a trailer, and sometimes, they didn't know where home was. But she said that her parents always had nothing but love for her and her brother, and that's why she is the way she is. She doesn't need a lot of material items or a big house - she wants a family that she can love the way her parents loved her. It was a sweet moment, and it made Sean fall for her even more! It was definitely needed for their relationship! Have I mentioned that they're sooo sweet? Aww! Of course, Sean gave Des a rose! He's feeling her :).
So, it's on to the rose ceremony cocktail party:
Selma did not have any courage to jump into the lake. However, she chose to go against her culture and shame her entire family (her words!) to kiss Sean on national television. Funny for her that it didn't work, because she was sent home! I guess Sean didn't like what he felt ... poor girl. Now she can go home and buy a bra that fits! Seriously...this girl's jugs are always popping all over the place! Not cool, Selma. Not cool.
Lindsay's alone time with Sean during the cocktail party was highly entertaining! I seriously had thoughts that she was drunk. She tells Sean that she's not going to kiss him during their alone time....yeah right! It was pretty cute though...and I do love Lindsay!
AshLee brought a scarf with her to the party. A scarf?! Yes. A scarf - so that Sean could blindfold her. Umm, kinky! I guess? Haha. It was really about relinquishing control, because apparently AshLee is a control-freak. She was abandoned young and then was adopted, so now that she's older, she has to control things in order not to get hurt. Sean even carried her, blindfolded, away to a different part of the hotel, which was utterly cute! Then, the making out starts. Yummy. AshLee tells Sean, "I adore you". Now that's soooo cute! I love the way she says that...."I adore you." Aww.
And, NO TIERRA DRAMA at the cocktail party?! No way! Sean left for the rose ceremony with zero drama. A much-needed change from Montana's cocktail party!
So, Sarah went home early, and then there was 8. 3 have roses: Desiree, Lesley, and Catherine. 2 were sent home...and it's Daniella and Selma to get the boot! Hooray! The first rose went to Lindsay, second to AshLee, and the third and final rose of the night....TIERRA! Ugh.
So, now it's down to SIX girls, and they're off to St. Croix! The girls seem pumped to head towards warmer weather! Or that they'll be clad in bikinis with the man of their dreams? Yeah, that might have something to do with it! And next week: more Tierra drama (oh joy!). *rolls eyes* And Sean reassures Tierra (for the umpteenth time), "I'm crazy about you.". Ughhhh. Until next week!

The Bachelor: {Week 3}
Last night was the third week for Sean Lowe to experience life as 'The Bachelor'. Actually, it was the third week for viewers to see what life was like for Sean Lowe as The Bachelor (to be politically correct). And it was another great episode!
Lesley M. (as the Bachelor world knows her) had the first one-on-one date. She seems to be a very outgoing girl and looking for a husband. And her connection and chemistry with Sean is undeniable! Those two are so comfortable with each other, as Sean tells her, "It feels like I've known you all of my life." And it definitely shows! However, I did feel a little sad for Lesley when he took her to the middle of Hollywood - to the Guiness Hall of World Records! Hmm...great 'date'. But that was only before it was revealed that she would be kissing Sean to attempt to break the world record of longest on-screen kiss! The record was held at 3 minutes and 15 seconds - umm, that's a LLLOOOONNNNGGG kiss! So, Chris Harrison was there (of course), the Guiness guy - to be sure it was legitimate and their lips did not break apart for even a second, a roaring crowd, and the clock to count just how long they'd be tongue-twisting. They were definitely great sports about it! And Lesley got to make-out with Sean for over three minutes! The beginning was terribly awkward, as they were both uneasy about kissing for a long period of time in front of such a large crowd. At about 2 minutes, they started giggling and really tried to keep their lips together (at this point, it was pretty funny and very entertaining). But about thirty seconds into that second minute, things heated up! The kiss became very passionate, and both Lesley and Sean forgot about the rest of the world and were very into each other, as well they should have been! Even as everyone cheered once they broke the record, they didn't release each other from the death-gripped lip-lock. They made it last a little bit longer, and then it was official: they held the world record for longest on-screen kiss! How adorable! Then, they were atop the Roosevelt Hotel, where they made out a little bit more. Again, the chemistry between those two is definitely undeniable! So, there you have it...Lesley was on cloud 9 after receiving a rose from Sean and spending countless minutes (hours?) making out with her hunk of a man candy.
Then, it was on to the group date, which included: Kacie B., Robyn, Leslie H., Kristy, Catherine, Desiree, Taryn, Amanda, Lindsay, Daniella, Jackie and Tierra. Aaannddd...they headed to the beach to compete for one-on-one time with Sean. So, they divided into two teams, and they played beach volleyball. Both teams were equally terrible - and it was pretty hard to watch! And, surprise surprise, the winning time (blue team!) won by only 2 points.
I was rooting for this team the entire time, as it consisted of Kacie B, Jackie, Desiree, Amanda, Lindsay, and Robyn. I mostly couldn't stand to watch Tierra for another second, and I wanted her to go back to the mansion. So, the winning group of girls got to spend an evening with Sean back at his house. "How romantic!" squeals one of the girls. Umm, newsflash, you're on a date with the man whom you're ooogling over with 12 other women doing the same thing. Yeah, romantic is what I'd go with too...not! Anyway, Sean and Lindsay seemed to connect more, as she continues to try to show him her serious and romantic side, instead of just the funny, psycho side that made her show up on day one, out of the limo, wearing a wedding dress! He seemed to like this new side of Lindsay, as she won a makeout session AND the rose for the group date! Awww.... But all the while, Kacie B. took action and tattled on Amanda and Desiree - they apparently aren't getting along and the tension is building. When Sean asked Kacie why she was bringing it to his attention, she really didn't have an answer. She's an attention-seeker and wanted him to know the 'truth'. Well, the truth is that Sean wasn't too impressed! And my truth, yes, there is a tension between Amanda and Des, but it's not out of control or serious enough to really have to bring it to Sean's attention. Hello?! How old are we?? Yeah, let's move on. Kay?
AshLee was the lucky lady to receive the second one-on-one this week, and boy was she excited! However, in reading the date card for this date, Tierra reads..."AshLee." *pause* "And Selma." *astonished faces around the room* "Just kidding...hahahahaha." Umm...rude?! Two-on-one dates means someone is going home, which isn't a funny joke to these girls. Secondly, Tierra got Selma's hopes up that she was getting a date, when in fact, she wasn't to get one at all. Have I mentioned that I really dislike Tierra? Anyway, AshLee was all ready for her date (in a mighty awful dress I might add), when there was a loud *thudd* in the house. Apparently, Tierra fell. Down the stairs. Really?! She took a fall, and Sean was worried she might have had a concussion and had EMS come to take her to be checked. However, once she was suited up in a neckbrace and laid out on the stretcher to go, she became bratty once again, refused EMS advice, and demanded to be 'left alone'. I think this takes me back to my teenage years! Ha. So, Tierra goes off by the pool to be 'alone' and Sean follows her to check on her. And he flirts with her all the while, while AshLee is in the mansion waiting for him to take her on their date! Once again, Tierra steals the spotlight. Attention-seeker!
Finally, Sean and AshLee head out for their date and arrive at Six Flags! Being that this is the Bachelor, the entire park is closed down just for the two of them. How sweet. However, Sean has a twist for AshLee! He brings along two girls that have chronic illnesses, and whom have been best friends online for over a year but have never met! He surprises everyone on this date: AshLee was unaware of their guests, and Emily and Brianna (the two girls that join their date) were unaware that the other would be there, so they got to meet in person for the first time! They seemed to really have a great time, and AshLee wasn't upset in the least about having to share her date! At least, she didn't show it anyway :). They had a fun time and ended the evening with a private concert by Sean's favorite band, the Eli Young band! It's good to see a down-home Texas boy enjoying some nice country music. I was enjoying it anyway. After the girls left, Sean and AshLee were able to have some serious one-on-one time to get to know each other better. AshLee had a very heartfelt story to tell Sean - her adoption story! I admit, it was very sweet and sincere. She seems to be a very optimistic person, and she doesn't let any negativity bring her down - at least she doesn't show that it does on national television. She had Sean in tears! He was so moved by the story of her meeting her adoptive father for the first time that he got all choked up! So sweet. They shared a romantic makeout session and finished the night in each other's arms swaying back and forth to EYB. Ok...I must also note here that while AshLee is sharing such a sentimental story that's close to her heart, they are sitting on a couch right in front of the stage that the EYB is standing on. Can we just say *awkard*?! Geez. Privacy please! But, AshLee gets the rose and will stay around for a while longer. Which is fine with me - I'm starting to like her a little more now, but she's not my fave!
Then, it's cocktail party time! And these girls broke out their claws! I have never seen so much Bachelor-stealing in my life! Okay, I don't watch EVERY season of this show, but still, it was intense! Sean didn't sit down with one girl for 2 minutes when another girl walked up and swooped him away, only to have Karma strike and have the same done to her! And poor Des, she stole Sean away from Tierra, and literally had 5 seconds with him on the couch (enough for a smooch!) when Tierra refused to be 'finished with him' and stole him back! Des told Sean she'd wait for him on the couch for him to come back, to which he agreed and specifically told her he'd return - and he didn't! He didn't get a chance, as the girls weren't okay with Tierra getting to talk to Sean alone for a second time - someone stole him away, and the plague of man-stealers continued. It was pretty catty. But, on to the rose ceremony. Sean picks up the first rose and says, "Hold on. Kacie, can I please talk with you?" - to which she obliges. He takes her outside and says that he has been unable to move her from the friend-zone to a relationship-zone, much to her dismay. He says he respects her too much to have her go through the rose ceremony only to be left rose-less, and he sends her packing right then and there! Poor girl didn't even get a limo...haha. I didn't care much for Kacie B and I'm glad she's gone. I don't believe she should've been there in the first place, but whatever. I'm obviously not in charge! :)
So, the rose ceremony begins (for real this time) and it's no shocker whose name is called first: 'Tierra'. Ugh. This is the moment when all of the viewers realize they have to spend another 2 hours watching crazy Tierra-filled drama since Sean's decided to keep her. Oh well. It's like watching a car-wreck - you just can't look away. As those of us in the south would say, 'Bless her heart'. Sean moves on with the rose ceremony. The next 9 roses go to: Leslie H., Catherine, Daniella, Robyn, Selma, Sarah, Jackie, Amanda and Desiree. Poor Des looked genuinely worried, and I admit that I was too! I thought, "Surely he wouldn't let her go with such a connection that they have." And he didn't...he just made her wait. It was a pretty long pause!! So, Taryn and Kristy were eliminated and said their goodbyes. Sayonara ladies!
My favorites after week 3:
1 - Lesley M.
2 - Desiree
My most-hated after week 3:
1 - Tierra
2 - Tierra
3 - Amanda
*yes, Tierra gets two spots this week! :)*
Now to wait another week to see what happens next! I can't wait...much more drama on the way!
