Relax.

Have you ever had one of those weekends that was just absolutely perfect, but you really didn't do anything?

Well, that was my weekend in a nutshell! I watched lots of Christmas movies, tried a new recipe, and spent quality time with my husband {who is still sick - when will it end?!}. We decorated a little more for Christmas and played with Ace! We were also productive and cleaned our apartment, including the mountains of laundry that have been staring at us for months weeks.

Although we didn't do anything extravagant or have any company over, it was just perfect. Sometimes, it doesn't take expensive outings and busy schedules to feel fulfilled. We accomplished a lot that has been on my to-do list for weeks, and I'm pretty proud of that!
It was a nice, quiet, peaceful weekend at home, taking care of the little things. I loved it! I even got a few bags together full of donations I need to take to good will. Score!

I just felt so blessed to be able to truly enjoy spending some time with my small family. With our schedules, that doesn't happen very often, so I'm just super thankful!

So, that was my weekend! Short and sweet :). How was your weekend?

Hey,

I found your blog via the 2014 Blogger Challenge & I'm a new follower ^_^

The idea of having a low-key weekend sounds lovely, I don't think I've ever had a day off when I haven't had to rush around like a headless chicken!

Looking forward to reading more,

Pixee
